Meet Michele

Sr. Director of Sales
Roche Diagnostics

We asked Michele a series of questions to get to know her better.

Here are her responses…

Describe the benefits of the AWL experience.
I describe it as a deep soul cleanse! The experience guides you through why you are who you are. Being able to do this in a safe space with other women allows you to get comfortable being vulnerable, which shows up in leadership everyday.

What did you walk away with from AWL and what are you continuing to learn about yourself?
I walked away from AWL feeling that my world had been opened with a broader purpose than what I could recognize in myself. The experience has shaped how I engage and develop teams to be resilient - both personally and professionally.

What would you say to someone considering the AWL experience?
DO IT! Invest in yourself. Be surrounded with a community that wants to lift you up and bring out your true authentic self … be prepared, there can be a few tears. :)

To me, leadership is... listening, learning and leaning in to inspire others to find their purpose.

Something that makes my life ridiculously fun is... my grandchildren!!! Interesting enough, I would only talk about them with people close to me UNTIL I attended AWL. It is ok that I was a young mother and grandmother. :)

The values/behaviors that are most important to me are... honesty, accountability, and authenticity.

How I would like to impact the world right now is... remind people, we are all human… be kind and respectful!
